Introduction to Painting and Decorating - Level 1 Award
Awarding body: NOCN
Length of Course: 10 weeks
Course dates: 18/07/08 – 19/09/08 (Fridays)
Cost: £380 (Deposit: £95) - Payment plan available
Maximum number of students: 9
Previous experience required: None
Overview:
Introduction to Painting and Decorating has been developed to give you an introduction to the different types of paint used in construction and around the home, the different tools used and techniques for giving a reasonable finish to a project.
This course is only an introduction and therefore delivers only the basic elements of painting and decorating. For further development in painting a decorating it is highly recommended to progress onto the level 2 Painting and Decorating Course.
Intermediate Painting and Decorating - Level 2 Award
Awarding Body: City & Guilds (TBC)
Length of Course: 10 weeks
Course dates: 18/02/09 – 23/04/09 (Wed – Thurs)
Cost: £785 (Deposit: £196.50) - Payment plan available
Maximum number of Students: 6
Overview:
Previous experience required: Some experience of painting and decorating is desirable, knowledge and experience of using and maintaining tools is essential
Delivering more in depth techniques for painting and decorating, this course aims to give you the knowledge to present yourself as a competent painter and decorator. Covering painting of a range of surfaces, preparing walls for decoration, use of stencils, wall papering and artexing.
This course has generated a great deal of interest among all types of tradesmen eager to offer a broader range of skills to customers, as a result demand is high so please book early to guarantee a place.
